Get clean, safe, great tasting water for the whole house. Our 25 Watt unit can treat up to 25 litres per minute of water, and is ideal for the smaller properties with 1-2 bathrooms. It can be used to purify harvested rainwater, bore water or direct from a stream/river.
Our entry level 25 Watt system uses 3 stage filtration:
Stage 1: Sediment filtration - this is where particles of dirt, decaying leaves, rust and scale are captured.
Stage 2: Activated Carbon - this is called a CTO filter Chlorine, Taste and Odour. It removes a wide range of undesirable chemicals such as Chlorine, while retaining most of the healthy minerals. (see here for more detail on what carbon filters remove)
Stage 3: Ultraviolet filtration - the water passes through a stainless steel reactor which contains a germicidal UV lamp. The UV light kills up to 99.9% of harmful microorganisms including viruses, bacteria like E. coli and salmonella, algae and fungi. (see here for information on UV water treatment)
